In five years of teaching at New School, so many wonderful people have walked into my classes, opened notebooks and laptops, and taught me. Last summer, Nora Weatherby was one of a terrific group in my nonfiction workshop at Summer Writers Colony. Since then, she has graduated from New School and further developed her Birth Narratives Oral History Project.
